Spirituality Information - Journey In The Fields Of Forever ( Part 19 )

It was early morning in the dream and I was sitting under a large tree near my family’s farm. It was a mango tree, one of those magnificent old giants native to the coastal regions of Guyana. It was the season when its leaves shimmered in multi- colors of gold, purple, green and orange. A soft breeze was blowing through the leaves and there was a peace that far surpassed anything I’ve ever known. On the ground next to me under the mango tree was a blue book with beautiful, gold lettering printed on its cover. I picked it up and tried to read the title, but I couldn’t understand it because it was written in a strange language. I opened it, turning to the first chapter whose title, much to my surprise, was written in English. It read, “The Beginning.” The rest of the pages were blank until I came to about the middle of the book where there was what seemed to be a line written in the same strange characters as the title of the book. Somehow, even as a little boy, I knew I was dreaming and I knew that this dream was meant to be remembered. I kept turning the pages until I came to the last one. There, in beautiful script penmanship, were the words, “Another Beginning” and under those words, as if in a sub-title, another line which read, “No Endings, Just Beginnings.” I turned back to the middle of the book and again stared at the strange characters. I wanted desperately to know its meaning. Slowly I closed the book and replaced it where I’d first found it. The dream continued. I turned around and looked toward the woods that bordered the farm and beheld a most amazing sight. Amid the sounds of rushing air, somewhat like the winds onshore when a storm approaches, and from all directions hundreds of brilliantly plumed birds in flight were headed toward my tree.
